Le Maire de Jérusalem, l’Ambassadeur de Norvège, le Président de la Sokhnout, viendront commémorer, sous la Présidence d’honneur du Nassi Rivlin, les 70 ans des “enfants d’Oslo”* à Ohavei Tsion, Jérusalem.
Des monuments existaient un peu partout et c’est la 1ère fois que la capitale sera le centre des commémorations.
Voulant ainsi marquer le souvenir des difficultés des Alyahs d’Afrique du Nord et de Tunisie, nous sommes convaincus de votre large présence sur un sujet qui touche à notre Histoire.

Vers la fin des années 40, vivaient en Afrique du Nord environ 500.000 juifs, dont 120.000 en Tunisie.
Dès l’indépendance d’Israël, l’Alyat Hanoar a aidé les jeunes juifs, en particuliers ceux d’Afrique du Nord dont les familles étaient pauvres, à s’installer en Israël.
Le 20 novembre 1949, elle a affrété deux vols au départ de Tunis. Avant de partir en Israël, les enfants devaient être temporairement hébergés par la Norvège pour y préparer l’Alyah.
L’un des deux avions s’est écrasé à proximité d’Oslo et trente-quatre personnes, dont vingt-sept enfants, ont péri dans ce terrible accident (un seul enfant a survécu).
Chaque année est commémoré ce « drame des enfants d’Oslo », comme l’un des épisodes les plus douloureux de l’Alyah des juifs d’Afrique du Nord et de Tunisie. Pour la Norvège, il s’agit aussi d’une grave catastrophe aérienne.
Des monuments à leur mémoire ont été érigés en Tunisie, en Norvège et dans plusieurs villes en Israël, sauf dans sa capitale, Jérusalem.
La communauté Ohavei Tsion, pilier du judaïsme d’Afrique du Nord et de Tunisie, a estimé qu’il était très important que Jérusalem, capitale d’Israël commémore également cet événement. En 2019, la manifestation centrale de cette cérémonie des 70 ans se tiendra donc devant le nouveau monument qu’elle vient d’ériger à Jérusalem.
La présence des plus hautes personnalités à cette manifestation témoigne de l’importance que ce sujet revêt pour elles. N’oublions pas que plus d’un million de juifs en Israël ont des racines en Afrique du Nord, dont plus de 300.000 en Tunisie. ________________________

ריבלין, ישתתפו בטקס לציון 70 שנה לאסון ילדי אוסלו, ב בית הכנסת אוהבי ציון, רחוב מקור חיים 10, ירושלים.
עד עכשיו היו אנדרטאות בכמה מקומות. לראשונה בעיר הבירה יתקיים טקס ההנצחה המרכזי.
ברצוננו לזכור את קשיי עליית יהודי צפון אפריקה ותוניסיה, אנו משוכנעים שתשתתפו באירוע הנוגע להיסטוריה שלנו.

בסוף שנות הארבעים חיו בצפון אפריקה כחמש מאות אלף יהודים, מתוכם מאה עשרים אלף בתוניסיה.
מיד אחרי קום מדינת ישראל ב-1948, עלית הנוער סייעה ליהודים ובמיוחד לילדים עניים מצפון אפריקה להתיישב במדינת ישראל. בין השנים 1948 ל-1956 עלית הנוער הצליחה להעלות לישראל שמונים אלף איש, מתוכם עשרים וחמישה אלף אנשים מתוניסיה.
עליית הנוער ארגנה טיסות של ילדים מתוניסיה ב-20 בנובמבר 1949. הילדים היו אמורים לשהות בנורבגיה זמן קצר עד לעלייתם ארצה. נורבגיה הציעה לארח אותם כדי לחזק אותם גופנית ולהכין אותם לקראת העלייה.
באותו היום המריאו שני מטוסים מתוניס בדרכם לנורבגיה עם הילדים. בגלל מזג אוויר קשה וקשיי ניווט התרסק אחד המטוסים סמוך לאוסלו.
ההתרסקות הנוראה הזאת גרמה למותם של שלושים וארבעה אנשים ובתוכם עשרים ושבעה ילדים. רק אחד מכול הנוסעים ניצל.
בכל שנה אנו מזכירים את האסון של ילדי אוסלו כאחד האירועים הקשים ביותר בעלייתם של יהודי תוניסיה וצפון אפריקה. האירוע היה גם אסון תעופתי עבור נורבגיה.
זיכרון הילדים התמימים ומלוויהם ירשם כחלק מן ההיסטוריה של תקומת מדינת ישראל. יהי זכרם ברוך!
עד היום הוקמו אנדרטאות בתוניסיה, בנורבגיה וכמובן בערים רבות בישראל חוץ מבירושלים.
בנובמבר 2019 לציון שבעים שנה לאסון הזה של ילדי אוסלו מתקיימות אזכרות רשמיות בהשתתפות אנשים רמי מעלה במקומות שונים בארץ.
הקהילה שלנו, קהילה מרכזית בתוך יהדות צפון אפריקה ותוניסיה, סברה שחשוב מאוד להקים אנדרטה בבירת מדינת ישראל, ירושלים. טקס הזיכרון באנדרטה זו בירושלים צריך להיות האירוע המרכזי.
במדינה שלנו חיים כיום יותר ממיליון יהודים אשר שורשיהם בצפון אפריקה, בתוכם יותר משלוש מאות אלף מתוניסיה. אירוע זה חשוב ביותר עבורם.
